ACCESSIBILITY
INFORMATION
-
The Mayday Parade follows Bloomington Avenue from 28th St. to Powderhorn Park (see route map here). There is no public parking in the Powderhorn Park lot during Mayday, and the limited parking there is reserved for Disability Parking only.
We encourage you to please bike, walk, bus or carpool to Mayday! It’s more fun, better for the environment, and keeps street parking available for neighborhood residents.
Parking is available only on residential streets in the neighborhood, and you will likely have to walk some distance if you park a vehicle.
-
All accessible parking requires a disability placard.
For the Parade:
On the north side of 31st street between 16th Ave and Bloomington Ave
On 33rd street between 14th Ave and 15th Ave.
At the Park:
The Powderhorn Park parking lot will be available for parking only for cars with a disability placard. Note- This parking lot is only accessible until 11am. Access to this lot will be closed from 11AM-3PM for safety during the parade. You will not be able to exit the lot until the Parade and Audience has cleared and it is safe. There will be an attendant to assist in moving barricades and guiding you to a parking spot.
